Gen 1 Parenting
because thriving children start with supported parents

Planting seeds of change.

Watering growth.

Nurturing transformation.
OUR MISSION
We equip and empower families with research-based education and tools to build strong, connected homes and transform communities one family at a time.

OUR VISION
Communities where every caregiver has access to the support they need to raise thriving resilient children—regardless of income or background.

WHY WE EXIST
Parenting is one of the most important jobs we'll ever have—yet most of us get little to no training for it. We're winging it based on how we were raised, or trying desperately to do the opposite.
But research shows that when caregivers have access to practical tools and real support, everything changes for the entire family.
The need is clear:
Nearly half of parents report that their stress feels completely overwhelming on most days, and 81% say they could use more support. While research shows that parenting education makes a measurable difference for families at every income level, many caregivers face real barriers to access—especially cost, inflexible schedules, and lack of childcare or transportation.

WHAT WE DO
We meet caregivers where they already are—partnering with churches, schools, and nonprofits to bring parenting education directly into the communities they serve, both in-person and virtually.
We believe finances should never be a barrier that keeps families from getting support. That's why all of our services—parenting workshops, coaching, leader training, and community partnerships—are offered on a sliding scale.
